Begin your Rajasthan Family Adventure Holiday in the vibrant capital city of Delhi. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the eclectic blend of old and new in Delhi. Wander through the bustling bazaar of Chandni Chowk, visit the majestic India Gate, the President’s Palace, and discover ancient monuments such as the UNESCO heritage sites of Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Don’t miss the vast Red Fort, the former center of Mughal power.
Day 2-4: Taj - Chambal Safaris
Travel to Agra to visit the magnificent Agra Fort and the iconic Taj Mahal. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, this symbol of eternal love is renowned for its stunning architecture and aesthetic beauty. The Taj Mahal is particularly enchanting at sunset when the building changes colors. In the evening, continue to Chambal and stay at an award-winning heritage property. Over the next two days, explore the National Chambal Sanctuary, home to the endangered Gharial, Ganges River Dolphin, Marsh Crocodiles, Smooth Coated Otters, and over 250 bird species. Enjoy a river safari with a naturalist and embark on a camel safari through the Chambal ravines, visiting local villages and the historic Fort Ater.
Day 5-7: Tiger Safaris at Ranthambhore
Travel to Ranthambore National Park. Once a royal hunting ground, Ranthambore is now a renowned wildlife sanctuary famous for its population of tigers. Nestled amidst deep ravines, steep cliffs, and dry deciduous forests, the park is overlooked by the impressive eleventh-century Ranthambore Fort. Embark on thrilling safaris to spot tigers in their natural habitat, along with other wildlife such as leopards, sloth bears, and various bird species.
Day 8-10: Jaipur
Continue your journey to Jaipur, the Pink City, built in 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II. This royal city, known for its rich culture, exquisite art, handicrafts, and captivating history, is the capital of Rajasthan. Discover the Jaipur Zoo, home to over 70 species of birds, reptiles, and mammals, including lions, tigers, panthers, and a unique crocodile breeding farm. End your day with a visit to the Monkey Temple (Galta Ji), a sanctuary for numerous tribes of monkeys and a place of worship dedicated to Lord Hanuman and the Sun God.
