Kalypso arranges Birds and mammals photography tours across South India & the Andaman Islands, with special emphasis on nature photography of the Western Ghats and the Andaman Islands. Having run highly successful photography wildlife & birding tours we are justifiably proud to be associated with top photographers across the globe. We have travelled across the land to seek out some of the best photographic locations in South India. We do not take you to the "regular" tourist locations, where you quickly take a few snapshots of and then jump back onto the car to the next ‘must see’ place on the tourist trail. Our tours are all off the beaten track and some of them rarely on any tourist trail. We would be sending detailed pre-departure and on-location notes to prepare you for the tour.

Yes, a highly qualified naturalist who is a field expert will lead the tour.

Q: What is the accommodation like?
Accommodation will be arranged in eco-lodges, camps in the wilderness and resorts. The trip involves extensive field trips requiring reasonably high physical fitness.

Q: Is there any camera fee payable?
Yes, it differs from place to place and will be informed prior to arrival.
